Contents of "cnet:" directory
- There are four directories I use inside of the CNET directory that
have to do with running FIDO/JamMail:
CNet:MAIL/
- This is by far the largest directory concerning JamMail. Look
inside for much more information.
CNet:PFILES/
- There's a directory inside PFILES called FIDO. It is NOT a
duplicate directory of the one found in MAIL. The reason I
have one in pfiles is so I can store CNET SPECIFIC ARexx files
dealing with FIDO and JamMail, without getting them confused
with other types of files(Straight ARexx, DOS, etc.).
CNet:Base1/
- To aid in keeping LOCAL message echoes separate from my FIDO
echoes, I created the "Base1" directory. I store all my LOCAL
message areas in BASE0, and all my FIDO echoes in BASE1.
- Although, at present, I only run the one network, I suggest
creating alternate "base" directories for EACH network you
carry, like Base2 for CLINK, Base3 for AugNet, etc...
CNet:UDBase0/
- Although I'm using 0, instead of 1, I suggest using the same
technique as with the Base directories if you'll be carrying
regular file echoes, as well as message echoes. Presently, I
only carry the few that are required in my area, which amounts
to four directories, so I store them in the same directory as
my local file areas.
